Deanna Orlando

I’m a London-based filmmaker looking for production and assistant roles in film and TV. I trained in Screen Acting & Filmmaking at Met Film School and have worked on short films, documentary and live events as a producer, production assistant, runner and story editor. On set, I’ve been Production Assistant on How Does It Feel to Be This Close to Home (Oasis Studios & 100 Horses), Production Assistant and Story Editor on the documentary Invisible Forces Beyond Our Conception, and Runner on Twenty. I produced Thanks, Doll for the Yes We Cannes 48-hour competition. I also wrote and starred in Last Spark, which won Best Film and Best Actress at the London 48-Hour Film Competition 2025. I’ve completed Set Ready Level 1 Location Marshal training. Off set, I have four years of cinema and venue management. I’ve run shifts, handled cash, budgets and stock orders, managed rotas and schedules, and kept records accurate in a busy environment. I’ve also coordinated film industry networking events and led a creative team on a campaign from planning to delivery. I’m used to juggling logistics, paperwork and people at the same time. I’m organised, calm under pressure, quick to learn new systems an
