Hi everyone! I’m Sonya, a costume designer working in film and theatre, and I’m looking for new projects! I’ve worked across all kinds of clothing-related projects: creating costumes for film, TV and theatre, styling and producing fashion shoots, working on private events, and helping people build their personal wardrobes. I love exploring completely different worlds and aesthetics — from a biker blockbuster to avant-garde, underground, gender-neutral London fashion. I’m genuinely fascinated by stories, characters and the endless possibilities of clothing. I studied film directing and later took costume design courses in Moscow. Now based in London on a Global Talent visa as a writer, I bring my wider creative background into every project. For me, a costume presentation is never just a collection of stylish Pinterest references. It’s an artistic exploration of the story and its characters, bringing them to life and expressing their personalities through clothing.
