Costume, East of England

I'm a Polish creative based in London, with a love for cinema, fashion, art and history, particularly the 19th and 20th centuries. I'm naturally curious and love digging deep into a subject, whether that's a historical period, a character's background or the social and cultural context behind the way people dress. I'm fascinated by clothing as a reflection of society, identity, class and culture, and by what it can tell us about the world a character inhabits. I can happily spend hours researching, following visual references and discovering details that might otherwise go unnoticed. Growing up in Eastern Europe has shaped my perspective and the way I approach creative work. I'm detail-oriented, disciplined and a bit of a perfectionist, and I care about understanding not just how something should look, but why it belongs in a particular world. Outside of work, I create short-form content exploring film costume design and visual culture, enjoy reading, visiting museums and exploring film history. I'm always keen to learn something new, exchange ideas and work with people who care about what they do as much as I do.
