Throughout my time at university, I’ve naturally gravitated toward covering golf, which has led me to build some amazing contacts, some of whom appear in this documentary. It was through those connections that this story first came to me: the idea that golf courses simply aren’t designed with women in mind. The more I heard, the more intrigued I became. What started as a passing conversation turned into a deeper exploration of fairness, design, and the lived experiences of women in the sport.

The scorecard
A student documentary on gender bias in golf course design, promising but only readable here through stills and setup.
- Storygetting there
Synopsis sets up a clear angle, courses not designed for women, but no transcript means the turn and ending cannot be confirmed.
- Picturegetting there
Frames are flat interview setups and a talking-head shot with a banner, functional but no framing or lighting choice stands out.
- Wordsnot read
Not read: no transcript, so the words were not seen.
- Worldgetting there
Driving range, cafe seating and a conference backdrop sketch real locations, but nothing in the frames builds a distinct sense of place.
- Voicegetting there
The subject, golf course design and women, is a genuine angle, but the frames alone show standard interview coverage, not a stated point of view.
Read the title, synopsis and three static interview frames; no transcript was provided, so dialogue, narration and structure could not be assessed. Read 2 November 2026. How the scorecard works
