The scorecard

A faith-and-immigration portrait stitched from interviews and gatherings, thin on synopsis but warm in texture.

2.6of 5
  • Storygetting there

Synopsis is two words long and no transcript exists, so want, turn and ending can't be confirmed, only guessed from frames of interviews and a church scene.

  • Pictureworks

The café shot uses warm practical light and shallow depth well; the station and church frames are flatter but functional and well composed.

  • Wordsworks

Only burned-in captions are visible, lines like 'Do you have any family here?' sound plain and real, but there isn't enough to judge the full dialogue.

  • Worldworks

A café with tinsel, a busy station concourse, a church hall with a lantern: each location reads as lived-in and specific to the subjects' lives.

  • Voicegetting there

The interview format and faith-plus-migration framing suggest a clear subject choice, but stills alone don't show a style no one else would use.

I read the title and two-word synopsis, viewed four still frames, and found no caption transcript, so dialogue and narrative structure are judged only from what's burned into the frames and the images themselves. Read 7 November 2026. How the scorecard works
