What happens when you show it here
- It plays in the Screening Room. Every member can watch it, and the month's most-voted films play on the Community's front page.
- Members vote and say what they thought. One vote each a month. The film with the most votes when the month ends wins People's Choice.
- It is in the running for Film of the Month in the month it arrives and the month after: a laurel for your poster and a winner's card to share.
- You get a scorecard. Every film is scored out of 5 on the same five things, with a note only you see: what works, and one thing to try next. How the scorecard works
- Everyone who made it is credited. Your cast and crew are named on the film's page, linked to their own page here if they have one, so people can find them to work with.
What you need
- A YouTube or Vimeo link, public or unlisted. Nothing is uploaded: the film stays where it is.
- The title, the running time and the year you finished it.
- Who made it with you: names and roles. Anyone can be credited, on MFJF or not.
- Two ticks: you hold the rights, and the music is licensed or there is none.
